Det finns sämre sätt att börja resan till Paris!

Things we actually got done today
Confirmed our booking with the hotel.
Made reservations at Chez Janou.
Bought band aids.
Sort of planned what to pack.
Had coffee.
Bought two plastic wine glasses for any and all wine we might like to drink at the hotel.
Discussed good vs bad service at two different sushi restaurants (not at all related to anything to do with Paris).
Failing at shopping
It may have happened once or twice before, but today, we have failed our shopping quest quite miserably. Marika needed a pair of shoes and a cardigan, Jenny needed some band aids and a top of some kind. So far, we've had lunch and tried on stilettos.
On the other hand, we've managed not to spend any money before leaving for Paris. We'll call it a win.

Planning is half the fun
As Marika is reading all about Pigalle on Trip Advisor ("Don't enter Pigalle clubs where criminals operate" - okay then!), Jenny seems incapable of actually getting dressed to go do some second to last minute shopping ("Do you have any band aids? No? We better go shopping then!").
We've been planning our return to Paris for more than a year, an in less than one week we'll be on our way. On the agenda: Musée d'Orsay, Le Louvre (again), champagne, the catacombs, runway shows, Père Lachaise, Garden of Rodin, lots and lots of shopping, great food and great wine.
